The mystery and beauty of the Hebrew alphabet inspired my design of this mezuzah.

The crown of the pomegranite serves as its focal point. Its shape is similar to the that of the modern letter Shin and the ancient letter Mem. If you read the inscription on the right-hand side in modern Hebrew, it spells Shin Daled Yud, or Shaddai. If you read it in ancient Hebrew on the left-hand side, it spells Mem Khof Bet Yud, for the acronym Maccabee.
